Rogers' Chocolates Oak Bay

Oak Bay shop for the Victoria chocolate maker known for Victoria Creams, selling boxed assortments, bars and gifts.

Known for Victoria Creams, still made to Charles Rogers' original recipe

Our take

Charles 'Candy' Rogers opened a grocery on Government Street in 1885 and sold chocolates shipped up from San Francisco, until he started making his own in the back while his wife, Leah, ran the shop. The Victoria Cream was his first creation, and the company says it still uses his recipe. The Oak Bay shop is one of eight in B.C. Summer brings ice cream bars. December brings advent calendars.
