Our take

Jennifer Robinson spent years in travel retail with Tilley Endurables. When she moved to Victoria and couldn't find travel gear in one place, she opened a store for it. The Oak Bay shop is the second, after the original on Yates Street downtown. The staff are travellers themselves, and they'll fit you properly and tell you how to pack.

Local tipParking out front is free, which beats the meters downtown.
