Our take

Dan Edler had the idea on a trip through Tuscany in 2015, then started with a countertop machine and a pint subscription with 20 subscribers. The name is about living just south of the 49th parallel, not the freezer temperature. Flavours rotate constantly. Honeycomb won the wild card round of a Reddit-run blind taste test of Victoria creameries in 2024, and Vietnamese Coffee comes from a trip he took to Vietnam with his father.
