Our take

Red Barn started in 2002 as a farm stand and is now owned by four former Thrifty Foods colleagues. The sandwich bar, Tall As The Barn, is the reason to go. It uses the company's own 751 Smokehouse meats, made without fillers, on local bread. Across its stores, Red Barn sells about a million sandwiches and wraps a year.
