Police have released a more detailed timeline of Jeremy Gordaneer's homicide over the long weekend, hoping to prompt public input. In the early morning hours of Aug. 31, 2021, first responders found the Edmonton-based artist in his motherβs home near Craigdarroch Castle. He was suffering from and succumbed to, life-threatening injuries after he was last seen near his motherβs home after having walked along Fort Street at 7:51pm. | Local volunteers work tirelessly to remove invasive species from Anderson Hill park | An Oak Bay local posted a reminder about the volunteers who work tirelessly in order to preserve the natural ecosystem in the park by removing invasive broom, gorse, and ivy. The original poster commented on the remarkable change that has happened at Anderson Hill over the past 20 years as a result of these efforts. Many commenters in the thread reminisced about the changes to the park over the years, which some used to call βBlueberry Hillβ another commenter referred to the location as βone of my favourite Oak Bay spots.β | Each Saturday morning from 10am until noon a group of dedicated volunteers can be found working, laughing, chatting and pulling invasive plants.
