The event was held St. Philip Anglican Church and Oak Bay Mayor Kevin Murdoch was in attendance. | After the event, Oak Bay locals discussed the format of the panel, which some criticized as lacking opportunities for a real discussion. Questions were submitted in advance, and while organizers were likely trying to keep the topics focused, some believed the questions had been screened and there wasnβt an opportunity for spontaneous conversation about the issue at hand. | Many in the community are passionate about housing issues in Oak Bay, and comments from others suggested that there were similar events in Victoria and Saanich where municipalities are grappling about how they will meet the upcoming provincial targets on housing.
