Windsor Pavilion
Municipal pavilion in Windsor Park with a hall and meeting rooms to rent, beside sports fields, a playground and rose gardens.
Known for a heritage rose garden next door, and cricket on the field
Our take
The pavilion was rebuilt on its original site in 2006 as a legacy of Oak Bay's centennial. Its rooms host meetings, classes and community events. Outside is Windsor Park, with fields for cricket, rugby, soccer and baseball, a heritage-designated rose garden, an accessible scented garden and a Tiny Paws area for small dogs.
Local tipDogs can be off leash from sunrise to 11 a.m. from September to June, and until 9 a.m. in July and August. They're not allowed in the rose garden or the play area.
