Weekend brunch · Saturday & Sunday

Pineapple on your pancakes. Hollandaise on your crab cakes.

Hawaiian pancakes come with coconut syrup, toasted almonds, grilled pineapple, berries and Chantilly cream. Prefer savoury? Try the Dungeness crabcake benny with hollandaise and roasted pepper aioli.

There’s shakshuka, too: eggs poached in spiced peppers and tomato, with crispy kale, feta and avocado.

Lunch · Wednesday to Friday

Crispy chicken. Buttery croffle. A little gochujang heat.

Liv’s chicken and croffle pairs fried chicken with a croissant waffle and sweet-spicy gochujang syrup. Or go for the Berryman Farm beef smash burger with caramelized onion jam and roasted garlic aioli.

For something greener, the Mediterranean bowl brings lentil and chickpea falafel, beet hummus, pickled radish and grilled pita.

Start with Dungeness crab cakes and apple-cranberry coleslaw. Keep a little room for dessert.

Two chefs. Their own garden.

The season starts
in Saanich.

Chefs Louise Lu and Milton Rebello grow produce at Liv’s Edible Gardens. What grows there helps shape the menus in their South Oak Bay kitchen.

It’s the thinking behind Liv: start with the ingredients, follow the season, and give people a welcoming place to enjoy them.
