Others chimed in with suggestionsβand some even offered cuttings of their own rhubarb plants. | Another Oak Bay local suggested itβs not currently the best time of year to divide rhubarb plants, especially if they are young. Some said there are plants available at HCP Gardens and other locals said they found some at Thriftys. The consensus among gardeners is that the best time to divide plants and share cuttings is in the fall, if you are looking to share some of your rhubarb harvest with your neighbours. | |

| Kids free little library on Bowker needs more books | An Oak Bay resident said that the free little library on Bowker is in need of more kids books. There have been numerous young readers who have stopped by only to see that theyβre running low. The library is at Bowker Avenue at Monteith Street and books can be dropped off at that location where they will be sorted before being placed inside for local kids to enjoy! |
