Three student-run fundraisers give your September cleanout somewhere to go. Oak Bay High students have a $30,000 goal for Cops for Cancer this year, and three ways for neighbours to help. Victoria Buzz reports that the Grade 12 organizers are planning a car wash, garage sale and bottle drive. Start with the car wash on Saturday, September 12, from 9am–3pm, by donation. If your cupboards need attention too, the students will accept garage-sale donations on Friday, September 18. Toys, clothes, books, sporting goods and kitchen items are among the goods listed for the sale in the school’s small gym on September 19, 9am–3pm.
